Art Classes For Everyone

_ 30 Jan – 16th Feb
Monday and Thursday nights 7 – 8.30 (please arrive at 6.50)
Learn new techniques in a fun environment with contemporary artist Rachael Errington (prepare to get messy!)
Lesson outlines:
Lesson 1-2,  (Lesson one starts at 6.15 with group intro and art talk at Artbay Gallery) followed by Life drawing using Acrylics and mixed media.
Lesson 3-4. Oils meet a spatula and a rag (subject optional).
Lesson 5-6 Ways of seeing with mixed media.
The outcome of the lessons will be 3 completed canvases.
6 lessons @$290 + some additional equipment.

With regards to equipment, you will require
a basic set of Acrylics
a basic set of oils,
3 brushes (smallish, medium and large, the medium should be a filbert brush -  I have these).
A spatula
Everyone to purchase 3 canvases (professional quality) from Rachael total $75 (wholesale price).

Basic means, a white, a black, a red, a blue, a yellow, and a brown - burnt umber or similar. Bring what ever you have already, I will have all these available to buy at the first lesson if you don't have them already - cheaper than the shops in Queenstown.

I will have spare paints and colours available in the lessons, and different mediums and textures for you to play around with. I will supply these as part of the course fee.
